May 2025, planning marketing, new reports and thinking about the first release of customer communities

One of the main tasks for this month was to choose a marketing strategy for the upcoming summer (the next three months). So, armed with Semrush, I started looking at how and where users come from to other projects in our industry (analytics, metrics, and online communities).

Here are the three key findings:

  • According to Semrush, almost no one searches for metrics as such :’(
  • Of all the possible metrics, the greatest interest is generated by ROI and LTV, and a bit in MAU, Retention and Conversion Rate. That’s it.
  • Almost every site dedicated to community management has one post that attracts about 30% of all its traffic.

The second biggest task for May was to get as close as possible to launching a new version of the app, where users would provide the URL of their community website, and we would automatically download data from the site, calculate metrics and build reports. We are very close, but the launch was postponed until June.

In addition, we added the main page and started making landing pages for reports. We improved the functionality of adding and deleting customer communities, collecting data for them and analyzing them.

New reports:

  • Assessing Community Management Effort
  • Top Of The Engagement Funnel
  • Engagement Summary
  • Cohort Users Engagement
